CHRISTMAS 2015: For Her

Hey dudes, I know you think women are hard to shop for, but fear not, I am here to help!

Similar to my list of For Him, I will also be giving out certain persona’s of women out there. But 100% not exhaustive.

The Beauty Addict

We all know that one person who is a little too into make up. And sometimes, makeup is the only thing that keeps them happy. In which case, I’m sorry but you may not have a choice but to buy them a Sephora or Ulta gift card.

However, if you want to be more personal, I do have a few gift suggestions.

UDxGwen Palette

Naked Palette

And if you really want to splurge for her… Marc Jacobs Lolita Palette

But, there isn’t just eyeshadow palettes. If you are on a budget, lipstick is also a foolproof zone. Just remember that there are two different kinds of lipstick that is most foolproof: a pink and a red.

Here is a quick guide for pink lipstick: look for a pink lipstick that is most similar to the shade of their skin or their lips. If you have a picture on you when you shop, even better (and most of the times the workers at the beauty stores will really help you out!). Quick guide for red lipstick is look for the red lipstick that has NO HINT OF ORANGE. Those are a lot more people specific. Favourite lipstick brands of mine are Nars, Maybelline (for drugstore option), and em Cosmetics.

But if all else fails, keep the receipt!

The Fashionista

Like I said in the man’s gift guide, clothes are hard to buy.

In this case, for women, it is even harder.

But, accessories for me, is always the best way to go.

How about bags like this, this, and this? They are all cute and versatile, and will not break the bank!

Or a good scarf for the colder times ahead: this, and this.

If you did read my men’s gift guide, you would have noticed I also included shoes. For women however, I am not, because 1. there are way more options for shoes, and 2. shoes is part of a girl’s identity, so I don’t think they would appreciate it as much for a stranger to give opinions on possible shoe gifts. HOWEVER, if you have paid attention to her and she has hinted at a possible shoe she wants, go for it!

The Chill One

There is always this one girl who doesn’t really care what gift she gets, as long as it is practical and nothing too high maintenance.

In this case, I also would recommend the scarves above, but also maybe a nice leather wallet that wears beautifully and isn’t high maintenance.

Wallets, in my opinions, are extremely thoughtful gifts, and also personal.

Kate Spade is one of my favourite wallet places. Their Stacy wallets are the best and easiest wallet of them all! (I personally really love this one!)

Also, whether your girl is a Starbucks lover or not, their mugs/tumblers have some of the best designs! I would recommend checking it out here (or in store!).

A bonus gift idea… here.

The Active One

Lululemon is every girls dream place to buy a good pair of leggings. And during the Christmas season, why not splurge a pair for her?

But, if you are planning on buying other gifts for her and do not want to spend all your allocated Christmas money for a pair of pants, Artizia has similar kinds of leggings, for about a quarter of the price (here)!

And sometimes, technology is a girl’s best friend. If she is a gym fanatic, or just a runner in general, these wireless bluetooth enabled earphones are going to wow her! Check them out here.

Christmas is the best time of the year, not because of presents, but because it is a time of the year to show your loved ones your appreciate for all their help and sacrifice.

Giving gifts isn’t about what you will get in return, but the smiles on the faces on the people you love.

I wish everyone a very happy Christmas!

Don’t forget to SM:)LE today!
